Tyler White

The Tyler White path to Middletown Football:

Tyler White is the defensive backs and offensive receivers coach on the varsity football team.  Tyler was born in Lancaster California on November 10, 1977.  He is a 1996 graduate of Middletown High School where he was a stand out athlete in Football and Track.  He was a finalist (finishing 5th) in the 300 m hurdles in the 1996 State Track Meet.  As a football player, Tyler was an All-Area 2nd Team Wide Receiver and a 1st Team All-Area Defensive Back.  His skills, tenacity, and work ethic propelled him onto the football team at Waynesburg College where he then also produced outstanding results.  He was a 2nd Team All-Conference Defensive Back both his Junior and Senior years and served as the team captain both of those years as well.  Tyler moved on to coaching at Shepherd University for the 2001-2002 seasons following his time at Waynesburg.  His next move was to Jefferson High School in West Virginia for the '03 and '04 seasons and then on to Middletown in his present position.  Tyler has been associated with winning programs throughout his career.  His college team won the Presidents' Athletic Conference in '98 and he has been part of MVAL championships in '95, '05 and 2006 as well as the Maryland West Region in '06.

He has been involved with the Middletown football community since 6th grade and is continuing to give back to his high school and community daily.  Tyler now works for Metron Aviation in Dulles Virginia.  He lives in Hagerstown with his wife Erin, and children Jayden, Ezra and Asher.
